Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,875 per week in Charleston, WV

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: State RN License required, Compact License accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred Must-Have: - Cardiac Telemetry experience - Invasive line monitoring experience - Critical medication administration - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Description: This position requires an RN with experience in an intermediate care setting. The unit has 15 beds and primarily cares for patients requiring close cardiac monitoring. Patient population includes adult and pediatric surgical and vascular clients. The responsibilities include monitoring arterial pressures and central venous pressures. The RN will manage post-Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement and other vascular patients. Monitoring includes interpreting dysrhythmias and managing critical medication. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Floating to other units may be necessary as per patient care needs. Submit references from supervisors within the last 2 years. All required certifications must be current and valid.
