Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,875 per week in Falls Church, VA

ICU Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour D/N rotation Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS required Must-Have: ICU experience Description: We are seeking an ICU nurse who is comfortable working on a stepdown unit taking up to 3 patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. Weekend requirements include 5 shifts every 6 weeks. Holiday commitments will be every other holiday. The nurse will be the first to float when necessary. The unit has 24 beds and utilizes the Epic EMR system. Patient ratios are 1:3. Floor orientation is 3 days. Common drips managed include insulin gtts, cardizem, heparin, Lasix, precedex, and low-dose pressors. Common patient conditions include respiratory disease processes, neurological disorders, and chronic illnesses. Scrubs should be navy blue pants with solid navy or white tops. Long sleeve shirts under scrubs must be navy or white.
