Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
- Provide intermediate-level care for patients requiring cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for acutely ill patients
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and complex monitoring as prescribed
- Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards
- Support patients and families with education and emotional care throughout recovery
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years' recent PCU or Step-Down experience
