Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,904 per week in Englewood, CO

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Colorado

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Patient ratio typically 1:4 to 1:5

• 30-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in cardiology and post-surgical care at a Cardiac Center of Excellence
• High acuity intermediate care environment with advanced cardiac and thoracic patient populations
• Equipment includes telemetry, transport monitors, chest tubes, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow, IV pumps, and pacemaker management
• EMR System: Meditech
• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 5–8 RNs, and 2–3 PCTs for collaborative team support
• Opportunities to work with post-catheterization, post-thoracic surgery, and open-heart surgical patients

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Progressive Care Unit (PCU) hospital experience required
• Current RN license in Colorado or compact state eligibility
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required
• Preferred skills: Chest tube management and removal, pacer wire removal, 12-lead EKG interpretation, oxygen management (including BiPAP and heated high-flow), and experience with cardiac drips (heparin, diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, dobutamine, milrinone, ketamine)
• Experience with post-catheterization care (right and left heart caths, TAVRs, ablations, pacemaker implantations), post-thoracic surgery care, and pre/post open-heart surgical care highly preferred
