Job Title: RN PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIH Certification, MOAB Moderate Risk Must-Have: Candidates should be aware that they may have to float to similar units on the same campus or another campus within the area. Every other weekend shift required. No call duty. EHR used: Cerner OneChart. Uniform: Ceil blue scrubs. Description: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes in patient status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care. Engage in patient and family education to promote health and recovery. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards of care.
