Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit- Deliver individualized care to complex medical, cardiac, and surgical patients.
- Perform Q6H head-to-toe assessments and complete comprehensive charting.
- Administer and titrate medications such as Dopamine, Dobutrex, Heparin, and Cardizem.
- Manage advanced skills and procedures including IV insertion and chest tube management.
- Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Cardiac/telemetry, PCU, and/or critical care experience
- Advanced skills in IV insertion, tracheostomy, and CVC management
