Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Proficiency in cardiac and neuro stepdown care, strong critical thinking, and adaptability are valuable for success in this role.
