Shifts will be full-time nights with three 12-hour shifts weekly. The assignment will commence as soon as possible. The facility has a total of 325 staffed beds. Charting is done using the Epic system. The nurse will be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients. The patient population may include a mix of ER boarded patients, telemetry, and med-surg cases. Nurse to patient ratios will vary from 1:4 to 1:6 based on unit acuity. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. The role may include some charge responsibilities on smaller units. Experience in the United States healthcare system is required. Travelers should expect to float between facilities as necessary. Refusal to float may lead to assignment termination. Must be committed to working three of the five major holidays. References covering one year of experience are required.
