Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,967 per week in Conyers, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Experience in telemetry monitoring Description: Diagnoses include, but are not limited to, diabetic ketoacidosis, respiratory failure, NSTEMI, vascular patients, renal failure, congestive heart failure, sepsis, and gastrointestinal bleed. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 4:1. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the start date may be pushed back by 2 weeks due to the orientation schedule. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Experience in managing high-flow nasal cannula, central line care, and telemetry is preferred. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The daily patient census averages 18. The unit consists of 21 beds. Additional skills required include managing blood products, isolation precautions, administering oxygen, and wound care. Applicants should have travel experience and familiarity with charting systems. All documentation for compliance must be submitted by the designated deadline. RTO requests must be finalized at the time of submission. No RTO can be requested during orientation week. Compliance with all onboarding requirements is mandatory.
