Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,969 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience managing cardiac drips and continuous telemetry monitoring - Proficient in patient care, including IV management and emergency response - Ability to float within facility as needed Description: Minimum experience required is one year. First-time travelers are accepted. Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics. No block scheduling is available. The unit focuses on neuro/stroke, respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical cases. Assignments will be for patients requiring PCU level care. Staffing ratio is 1 nurse to 4 patients. The unit has 36 beds, with an average daily census of 30. Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems is preferred. Staff should wear navy blue scrubs. All compliance requirements must be met prior to starting. Mandatory holidays include key national holidays; if scheduled, the employee is expected to work. Pre-approved time off is available, but must be finalized at the time of submission. Modules are required as part of the onboarding process.
