Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required. License: Active multistate or state license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Experience in IICU or ICU with a patient acuity of 1:3. Description: This position requires proficiency in cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Experience in ICU or IICU settings is essential. Clinicians must possess medication management skills, including titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips. Experience with ventilators is required. The patient population includes adults with trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases necessitating monitoring or interventions every 1 to 2 hours. The unit receives direct admissions and transfers from higher acuity areas. Staff may be required to float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas for which they are qualified. The team collaborates with interdisciplinary support services, including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of documented experience with the EPIC charting system.
