Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,971 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Pending License accepted: No Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum of one year experience with Epic EMR. Description: Candidates must have strong Cardiac Telemetry experience. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Candidates with Epic experience are preferred. All time off requests must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. The facility allows calling off one shift per two weeks. Average daily census is 24 with a staffing ratio of 4:1. The unit manages various cardiac diagnoses related to chest pain and arrhythmias. Patients may require telemetry monitoring based on their medical history. Special procedures may include heart catheterization, nuclear stress tests, and cardioversion. Patients may also require various drips with maximum titration rates. Floating to other units may be required. Travelers must be 100 miles from any facility to be eligible to travel. Travelers will need to complete required pre-assignment testing and modules. Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules.
