Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,990 per week in Charlottesville, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in charge experience and patient ratio experience of 3. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Pending licenses accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Must adhere to floating policy. Description: Provide nursing care for patients requiring step-down services. Offer either 36 or 48 hours per week. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed. Work night shifts with every other weekend and holiday required. Unable to approve time off for Labor Day weekend. Can approve a maximum of 40 hours for time off. Must have experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, and cardiac telemetry. Experience with high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management is required. Proficiency in managing telemetry and the interpretation of dysrhythmias is needed. Candidates must be familiar with IV and peripheral line care and management. Experience with pre/post hemodialysis management is preferred. Ability to manage epidural analgesia and PCA is essential. Knowledge of tracheostomy care and wound care is expected. Candidates should be prepared to float within their scope of practice as necessary.
