Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,990 per week in Charlottesville, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year License: Current nursing license required; pending licenses accepted (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date). Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Epic experience required. Ability to float within scope of practice as needed. Description: Registered Nurse position available in the Progressive Care Unit. This is a night shift position working three 12-hour shifts per week. The nurse will be responsible for managing and providing care to patients with various surgical and trauma-related conditions. The patient to nurse ratio is expected to be 3:1. Familiarity with Epic charting system is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required. Time off requests are limited to 40 hours per contract. The position may involve caring for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Interdisciplinary support available from physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services, among others. Experience with blood product administration, arterial line management, and managing cardiac telemetry is preferred. Key skills include managing dysrhythmias, PICC line management, and tracheostomy care. Float policy adherence is required for this role. Additional special procedures and unit details may apply.
