Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 5:1 patient ratio, 24-bed progressive care unit

• Brand new, state-of-the-art progressive care unit with ADA/bariatric-equipped rooms and in-room Hoyer lifts
• Diverse patient population including post-operative orthopedic, spine, GYN surgeries, cardiac cath lab procedures, stroke, and respiratory care
• Telemetry monitoring and post-operative recovery focus with EMR system (Meditech/CPN)
• Modified self-scheduling process with schedules posted three weeks in advance for excellent work-life balance
• Collaborative team environment with a wide range of nursing experience and strong unit culture
• Cardiac drip management including heparin titration; procedures include post-PCI, pacemaker, ablation, and cardioversion care

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Active RN license in Colorado (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Cardiac experience preferred
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
