Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: - Cardiac Telemetry experience required. - Focus on cardiac patients (Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, arrhythmias). - Secondary focus on respiratory problems (e.g., COPD, pneumonia). Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in PCU. The nurse will work night shifts, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts weekly. Each shift starts at 19:00 and ends at 07:30. The nurse will focus on cardiac patients, particularly those with heart failure and related conditions. There will be a secondary responsibility in managing respiratory issues. The Registered Nurse will be expected to manage telemetry patients. Floating to different units may be required based on patient needs. Compliance with all required policies and procedures is mandatory. A background in cardiac telemetry is essential for this role. Knowledge of BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation is crucial. Education verification through a third party is required. All applicants must pass an EKG exam, which is a requirement for all RNs. No candidates with open background check cases will be accepted.
