Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

Manage critical care drips including Insulin, Nitroglycerin, and more
Provide care for stroke patients and perform cardiac rhythm interpretation
Conduct trach care, PIV starts, and manage chest tubes
Handle drain/tube management including Peg tubes and Foley management
Operate PCA pumps and respond to telemetry readings

Requirements of the RN - PCU

18 months of PCU RN experience
Valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Proficient in PCU and critical care skills
