Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
Perform assessments and develop care plans for patients with various conditions including CHF, dysrhythmia, and more
Administer medications, monitor cardiac rhythms, and manage IV lines
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including CNAs, RTs, and intensivists
Utilize EMR systems, specifically EPIC, and Alaris IV pumps for patient care documentation

Requirements of the RN - PCU

Minimum of 18 months experience in a PCU setting
Valid RN license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience with traches, cardiac gtt, and chest tubes
