Description:
This position requires a skilled nurse for the PCU.
The nurse will care for patients with varied diagnoses including sepsis, wound care, renal failure, and COVID.
The nurse will float between multiple units as needed.
A minimum of 8 weekend shifts is required within a 6-week schedule period.
The nurse must possess skills in managing IV therapy and phlebotomy.
Experience in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias is essential.
The nurse will be responsible for providing pre/postoperative care for cardiac procedures.
An understanding of feeding tube care and management is beneficial.
This role necessitates collaborative work with interdisciplinary support teams.
Familiarity with various equipment, including virtual nursing tools and cardiac monitors, is required.
BLS and NIHSS certifications are mandatory; ACLS certification is preferred.
Candidates with first-time nurse experience will be accepted.
