Job Title: RN - Progressive Care Unit Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience, including 1 year of Cerner experience. Telemetry experience required. License: Current licensure by the state Board of Nursing. Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Excellent computer skills Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals. Ensures implementation of solutions. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
