Description:
This position follows a clinical interview process.
Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable.
Decisions are typically made the same day or by the next business day.
Applicants seeking more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off are not eligible for the same processing timeline.
The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on their shift.
RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria.
Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills.
The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries.
Experience in pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access is required.
The RN must have proficiency in reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips and recognizing changes in cardiac rhythms.
Experience with assisting in the management and removal of chest tubes, pericardial pacing wires, and temporary pacers is needed.
The ability to use and troubleshoot non-invasive ventilation devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems is required.
RNs must float to all units within their skill level.
