Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,092 per week in Akron, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: - ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety assessment will be completed during orientation. - Candidates must receive acceptable scores on both assessments. Description: Seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. This position involves working night shifts of 12 hours. Every other holiday is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty. An active Ohio license or compact state license is required. BLS and ACLS certifications must be current and in hand. Candidates will undergo an ECG rhythm recognition test and a SafeMedicate assessment. A passing score on both assessments is necessary for ongoing employment. Reports of any background hits will be reviewed, and candidates with open cases will not be accepted. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements during this period. Additional requirements include a completed drug screening conducted within the last 12 months. Candidates may extend their contracts for 18 months with a total 6-month break period thereafter.
