Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,105 per week in Rochester, NY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active New York Single State RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry and Stepdown-level care experience Ability to manage cardiac drips (no titration) Experience with central and peripheral line care Charting experience with EPIC required Ability to float within skillset Description: Registered Nurse needed for a Progressive Care Unit. Shift hours are 7 PM to 7 AM. Charting experience in EPIC is required. Weekend requirements include rotating every other weekend. Must be available to work every other holiday if needed. Floating to other units within skillset will be required. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-5. Patients include adults and geriatrics with long-term pulmonary conditions and post-surgical care. Nursing responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. The facility supports interdisciplinary teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, and social services.
