Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,122 per week in Portsmouth, NH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45-07:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS & BLS Required Must-Have: Telemetry Step-down Experience Description: Unit information includes a total of 23 beds. There are 9 staff members on the unit. During the day shift, there are 6-7 RNs and 2 aides. During the night shift, there are 6-7 RNs and 2 aides. The patient ratios are 4:1. Equipment includes bedside monitors, end-tidal O2 monitoring, high flow and chronic vents, and subdural drains. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed on the unit include chest tubes and EEGs. The unit seeks team-oriented candidates. Preferred skills include neuro experience and trauma experience. Candidates will be considered based on their fit for the team. Weekends are required every other week, with no on-call requirement.
