Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,147 per week in Englewood, CO

Job Title: Travel RN - PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years current acute care hospital PCU experience License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience - BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications Description: This position is for an experienced RN in the Progressive Care Unit. The unit features 20 beds and has a staff of 40 including nurses and techs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:4. Charge nurses do not have patient assignments. The unit is equipped with vents, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and specialty beds. Experience with a variety of procedures such as chest tube placement and bedside bronchitis management is preferred. Ideal candidates should enjoy a challenging and acute patient population. The team is known for excellent teamwork and support among nurses and charge nurses. Tech support is readily available during both day and night shifts. The unit serves a diverse and interesting patient population, offering an engaging work environment.
