Seven Healthcare is pleased to present a travel nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in High Point, NC. This assignment offers a weekly pay of $2,125 for three 12-hour shifts (36 hours), working night shifts.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
  • Monitor and assess patients' clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and discharge instructions
  • Accurately document patient care and clinical observations in electronic health records
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient status, including emergency interventions
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Travel to and from assignment locations as needed

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
  • Valid North Carolina/Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Progressive Care Unit
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
