Key Responsibilities of the CVPCU Registered Nurse

Manage patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgery including open heart operations
Handle typical unit procedures such as epidural and chest tube management
Administer and manage cardiac drips and medications
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care

Requirements of the CVPCU Registered Nurse

Stepdown experience
Telemetry experience
ACLS and BLS certifications
Experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery within the past year preferred
