Key Responsibilities of the CVPCU Registered Nurse- Manage patients undergoing cardiovascular and vascular surgery including open heart operations
- Handle typical unit procedures such as epidural and chest tube management
- Administer and manage cardiac drips and medications
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements of the CVPCU Registered Nurse- Stepdown experience
- Telemetry experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery within the past year preferred
