This role involves working with a dedicated team specializing in cardiovascular and vascular surgery patients. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PCU

Manage acute care for cardiovascular surgery and vascular surgery patients
Utilize telemetry for monitoring patient conditions
Perform epidural and chest tube management
Administer tube feedings and manage IV glucose
Handle cardiac gtt management, including medications such as phenylephrine and dobutamine

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PCU

Valid RN license
ACLS and BLS certifications
Experience in stepdown and telemetry units
Experience with cardiovascular and vascular surgery populations preferred
