Shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in Hermitage, TN. This role involves providing high-quality care in a dynamic hospital setting, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and systems such as Meditech.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel- Provide direct patient care, using critical thinking skills to assess and monitor patient conditions
- Operate and manage equipment like bipaps, high flow oxygen, and ventilatory support
- Administer cardiac, insulin, and heparin drips, and perform peritoneal dialysis
- Conduct procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and chest tube insertions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech
- Utilize effective communication strategies, including AIDET and patient rounding
Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip management, and insulin drip administration
- Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and management
- Experience with high-flow oxygen and various delivery systems
- Preferred experience with peritoneal dialysis
