Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMC Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with 1 year of travel experience License: Current and valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course, NIHSS Must-Have: Current Critical Care and Telemetry experience required. Description: Current and valid driver's license or state issued ID required. Utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address within the last three months is required. Address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility. Driver's license and utility bill must be included with submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Floating to other areas may be required to meet facility needs. Must have experience managing cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring. Knowledge of handling ventilated patients and central line care is essential. Candidates must have skills in intravenous (IV) management and blood product administration. Working knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE is required. Experience with high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and non-invasive airway management is essential. Candidates should be comfortable with procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Must be able to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias. Willingness to float to other facilities if necessary is expected. All candidates must maintain a professional demeanor and prioritize patient care. Travel experience in a nursing capacity is required. References from two supervisory contacts must be provided with submission. Candidates must have documented experience in relevant clinical areas.
