Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,157 per week in Rochester, NY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 15 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Active New York Single State RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Epic charting experience required - Telemetry and Stepdown-level care experience - Ability to manage cardiac drips (no titration) - Experience with blood product administration - Capable of providing nasal cannula and oxygen administration - Skills in emergency response and dysrhythmia management Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a Progressive Care Unit. Shift hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM. Requires every other weekend availability. Must be available to work every other holiday if needed. This position involves a patient ratio of 1:4-5, with a daily census of approximately 22 patients. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics with long-term pulmonary conditions, ENT surgery needs, and any surgical procedures requiring step-down level care. Candidates must be willing to float within the defined skill set. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Experience with telemetry, code team response, and isolation precautions is essential. All candidates must have active licenses and certifications as specified.
