Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,186 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMC Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience required. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: Previous charge experience. Experience with patient ratios of 3-4. Experience with Epic charting system preferred. Travel experience is required. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Vascular Transplant Unit. The schedule will be three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The shifts will occur on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in a block schedule. Every weekend is required due to the block position. The nurse will need to float within the specialty and to lower acuity areas as needed. The role will involve managing patients with various conditions, including those requiring telemetry and critical care. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications, managing IV therapies, and providing direct patient care. Skills necessary include managing arterial lines, feeding tubes, and central lines. The nurse will participate in rapid response and code teams when necessary. Compliance with safety protocols such as isolation and PPE is required. Wound care and management of surgical drains will also be part of the responsibilities.
