Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,214 per week in Lexington, KY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in a level one trauma facility License: Kentucky or compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Experience in Progressive Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical nursing - Ability to float to other universal/progressive areas within the facility - Willingness to work every other weekend - Availability to work a minimum of 3 out of 6 winter holidays Description: This position involves caring for medical-surgical patients in a stepdown unit. The unit cares for adult patients with multiple and often complex diagnoses. Patient populations include those with cardiac, respiratory, gastrointestinal, oncology, and other conditions. Nursing staff will manage patients with illnesses such as diabetes, sepsis, pneumonia, and other infections. The unit operates under interdisciplinary support to provide comprehensive patient care. Additional compliance requirements include BLS, ACLS, EKG, and competency exams related to progressive care. Candidates must be responsive to required float assignments within the facility and nearby locations. Experience in a level one trauma facility is essential for this role.
