Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse with a specialty in step down care. The shift is night, working three 12-hour shifts per week. The candidate should have at least one year of experience in a relevant setting. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Candidates with only one year of experience will undergo a review process by the manager. Certification in BLS and ACLS is required. Float within the organization will be necessary as needed. On-call duty may be part of the job requirements. Every other weekend coverage is required. The patient population includes various medical diagnoses, along with pre- and post-surgical patients of mixed acuity levels. Interdisciplinary support is available, including various specialized teams. Skills required for the role include managing lines, administering medications, and providing telemetry monitoring.
