Candidates will care for patients undergoing various transplant procedures, including kidney and liver transplants. Responsibilities include managing primary care and monitoring patients for signs of rejection and complications. Nurses will assess and interpret dysrhythmias, manage IV therapies, and provide non-invasive airway management. The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and social services. Special procedures include kidney biopsy recovery and paracentesis. Applicants must have effective communication skills and be able to work collaboratively in a team setting. Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays are part of the schedule. Compliance with required credentialing and procedural protocols is essential. Two professional references are required, with at least one reference from a manager or supervisor.
