Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,218 per week in Flagstaff, AZ

Job Title: PCU RN - Critical Care Flex Pool Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active, unrestricted RN License or valid, participating compact license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Experience in MS/Tele or PCU required. Description: Position involves floating between MS/Tele and PCU units. Travelers must be open to floating where most needed. Shift schedule is 3x12 hour nights from 7 PM to 7 AM. Patient ratios are 1:4 or 1:5. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. No on-call duties are required. The hospital is looking for well-rounded travelers. ICU/PCU experience is desirable, but candidates with strong MS/Telemetry experience will be considered. The units are equipped with standard med/surg and telemetry equipment. Patient rooms have Liko lifts available. The facility is a short-term acute care setting. It holds teaching status and is a Level IV trauma center. The unit cares for a diverse range of high acuity patients including post-surgical patients and those with complex medical needs. All employees must adhere to the quality and patient safety standards established by the facility. Floating will occur within the facility based on skills and census needs. Candidates must be comfortable with floating to other units. Specialized support is available from various interdisciplinary teams. This role requires the management and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Candidates must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips independently. Candidates may undergo a compliance process prior to the start of the assignment. This role requires flexibility regarding scheduling and patient care responsibilities.
