Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,218 per week in Saint Joseph, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required License: State License And/Or Compact State Licensure Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Must-Have: Float may be required to units of similar or lower acuity as needed. Description: Traveler must confirm that they have reviewed all details of the position, including shift, location, and housing, and are prepared to sign if offered. Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within a 50-mile radius. Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Certifications include RN state license and/or compact state licensure, BCLS, ACLS. Pending licenses are accepted but must be in hand prior to the start. The facility has 352 certified beds and is a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center. They offer a wide range of hospital and area clinics providing urgent, primary, specialty, and emergency care. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratios on nights are 5:1. Unit specializes in a blended patient configuration including general surgery, trauma, respiratory failure, GI bleed, sepsis, and more. High level of interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Experience in Epic charting system preferred. Previous travel experience is also preferred. Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility. Modules will be non-billable and may be completed during orientation.
