Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PCU

Manage chest tubes and wound vacs
Perform EKGs and interpret telemetry
Administer and manage Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips
Conduct bedside and hourly rounding with a focus on patient experience
Collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PCU

ACLS and BLS certifications
Proficiency in cardiac care and advanced medication drips
Experience in telemetry documentation and rhythm strip acknowledgment
