Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,228 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of PCU or stepdown experience preferred License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic - Ability to manage various nursing skills such as arterial line management and cardiac telemetry Description: Join a newly established 12-bed acute care unit. You will be responsible for a diverse range of medical diagnoses, including some pre and post-surgical patients with mixed acuity levels. Floating to different units may be required as needed. Weekend rotation is required. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Key skills needed include the ability to interpret dysrhythmias, manage IVs, and operate various medical equipment. Proper management of patient care will require adherence to isolation precautions and other safety protocols. The position necessitates strong communication skills and the ability to provide quality care to patients.
