Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,228 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience is required. License: Must have a valid nursing license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Previous telemetry experience. - Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips. - Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a step-down specialty unit. The nurse will work night shifts, 36 hours per week. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant experience to be considered. Candidates with only one year of experience will require a review by the manager before receiving an offer. Floating to different units will be required as needed. Weekend shifts will be every other weekend. Candidates must have experience in interpreting dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias. Knowledge of telemetry, nasal cannula, and oxygen administration is essential. Experience in peripheral line care and management as well as starting and maintaining IVs is required. Travelers who are unresponsive or uncooperative with credentialing may have their contracts pushed or canceled. Candidates must be aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process. Two professional references are required for submission. At least one reference must come from a manager or someone in a formal leadership capacity. Co-worker references will not be accepted. Candidates must have completed their education from an accredited nursing program.
