The team manages post-operative cardiac surgery patients requiring specialized care. Patients include those with chest tubes, and while vents are not used, LVAD experience is beneficial. The patient-nurse ratio is typically 1:4 or 1:5. Candidates will have two attempts to complete a rhythm identification test, which is proctored and not multiple-choice. Previous experience in a similar setting is essential for consideration.
