Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,251 per week in Augusta, GA

Familiarity with cardiac and insulin drips. Description: Please note that the patient ratios below are an estimate based upon the unit and not a guarantee. The unit has 29 beds. Patient ratios are ideally 1:4, currently running 1:5. Unit staffing includes unit secretaries and patient care technicians. Equipment used includes Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, bladder scans, and vein finders. Documentation is performed using Meditech. Scheduling requires 36 hours per week. All staff float to areas of their competencies. Must provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. Blood glucose checks are conducted as ordered. Required documentation and assessments are performed every shift. Staff in the unit are very cohesive and work well as a team. Candidates should be collaborative and willing to work in a team environment. Staff have the option to self-schedule, especially for night shifts, with a preference for working three consecutive nights. The facility is known for a supportive culture and managerial backing.
