Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, rotating weekdays and weekends with rotating holiday coverage

Parking permits available with multiple options ranging from $196.20 to $748.58 per period
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown) experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
Epic charting system experience required
Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) in hand at time of application
Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
Proficiency in neurological skills including blood product administration, heparin protocols, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions, craniotomy care, intracranial bleeds, post-TPA care, and pre/post neurosurgery management
Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
