Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,251 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays

Highlights:

• Specialized abdominal transplant unit caring for kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients
• Patient diagnoses include transplant recovery, rejection monitoring, infections, acute kidney injury, hepatology, and GI bleed
• Epic charting system experience required
• First-time travelers welcome; minimum 1 year of experience required
• Float requirements within the health system as needed
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of PCU, stepdown, or telemetry experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Skills in telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy, central line and PICC line management, accessing/managing ports, and IV insulin protocols
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
