The ideal candidate should have experience in handling cases such as strokes, bariatric surgeries, and acute respiratory failures. Candidates will be responsible for a patient ratio of five patients per nurse during both day and night shifts. The registered nurse will perform various critical nursing tasks, including but not limited to managing central lines, administering blood products, and providing post-operative care. Experience with Epic charting system is essential. Certified candidates will be well-versed in protocols for managing dysrhythmias and administering high-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy. Excellent communication skills and the ability to float to different areas as needed are necessary for this role. The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients within a 34-bed unit. Qualified candidates must provide supervisory references upon request.
