Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of previous experience required. At least 1 travel contract completed preferred. License: State license required. Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines. Knowledge of amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban. Experience with titration is required. Profile must include a driver's license. Work history/resume is required. Skills checklist must have been completed within 1 year of submission date. License verification is required. One supervisory reference required at the time of submission. Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Description: The Registered Nurse contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The nurse may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The role involves working with patients in a progressive care environment. The candidate must communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary team. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications and monitoring patient progress.
