Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,264 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays. Float coverage required within the organization as needed.

Highlights:

• Specialized abdominal transplant unit caring for kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients
• Work with diverse patient diagnoses including transplant rejection monitoring, infections, AKI, hepatology cases, and GI bleeds
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Minimum 1 year of PCU experience required; first-time travelers welcome (profiles subject to manager review)
• Specialized procedures include kidney biopsy recovery and paracentesis
• Adult patient population with telemetry monitoring

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care/stepdown experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Core skills: Telemetry, MS/Tele, central line care, IV management, accessing/managing ports, PICC line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, non-invasive airway management
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
