Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,266 per week in Portsmouth, NH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS & BLS required Must-Have: Telemetry step-down experience Description: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required. Candidates must possess an active nursing license. The unit has 23 beds and staff consists of 6-7 RNs and 2 aides on day shift and the same on night shift. The patient ratio is 4:1. Equipment includes bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, and subdural drains. The EMR system used is Meditech. Candidates must be team-oriented. Preferred skills include neuro and trauma experience. Typical procedures performed on the unit include chest tubes and EEGs. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, with no on-call requirement.
