Job Title: IMCU/Step Down Registered Nurse
Profession: Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in IMCU/Step Down nursing
License: Active Registered Nurse License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must-Have:
Experience caring for higher-acuity patients, including trach and ventilator patients.
Experience with critical care drips and titrated infusions.
Experience with intermediate care/step-down level patients.
Experience with complex cardiac and respiratory patients.
Description:
We are seeking IMCU/Step Down Registered Nurses for a travel assignment.
Candidates will float between units based on their skill sets.
Weekends will be required every other week.
The expected patient ratios are 1:3 and 1:4.
Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment.
Travelers may be required to float to other units and facilities.
Previous experience in step-down or intermediate care nursing is essential.
Blood product administration and management of dysrhythmias experience is required.
Candidates should be proficient in central line care and management.
Titration of cardiac and insulin drips is necessary.
Tracheostomy care and management skills are also needed.
Flexibility and adaptability are crucial in this role.
Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays.
All requests for time off must be submitted upfront.
Travelers refusing to float may face assignment termination.
Effective communication skills are vital for working in an interdisciplinary team.
All applicants should comply with required competencies.
Candidates must have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
